 Sauerkraut1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tart dessert apples
 Onion1 Small
 3/4 cup diced sweet dill pickles
 Chopped parsley5 Tablespoon, mixed
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Lemon juice3 Tablespoon
 Oil1/2 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Drain the sauerkraut and rinse well in hot water.
Drain again, pressing out all the water.
Peel, core and dice the apples.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Mix together the sauerkraut, apples, pickles, onion and herbs.
Add the salt, sugar and lemon juice and toss together well.
Heat the oil in a pan and pour carefully over the salad, so that it mixes.
Toss again and leave to cool.
Serve chilled.
