Sauerkraut Provencale Recipe
Ingredients
1 medium-size onion, chopped
2 tablespoons hot bacon drippings
1/3 cup undiluted canned consomme
1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut, drained
1 (4 ounce) jar pimiento, diced
1/2 cup commercial sour cream
Poppy seeds
Directions
Cook onion in bacon drippings until tender.
Add consomme, sauerkraut and pimiento; mix lightly.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve topped with sour cream.
