Sauerkraut Beef Recipe
Ingredients
| Chuck - 3 pounds, cut in 1 inch cubes | ||
| Onions | 3 | |
| Fat | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Kosher salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sauerkraut | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | |
| Boiling water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Take a skillet and melt fat in it. Add onions and meat. Cook until brown in color.
2) Sprinkle with pepper, salt and paprika.
3) Cover and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes.
4) Add sauerkraut and cook for another 10 minutes.
5) Stir in water and bay leaf.
6) Cover and cook for another 1 1/2 hours.
SERVING
7) Remove bay leaf and serve hot.
