Sauerkraut And Smoked Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1 Large, sliced | |
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Pineapple | 1 Can (10oz), crushed | |
| Applesauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Caraway seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Bouillon cubes | 2 | |
| Water | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sauerkraut | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| 4 or more smoked Hormel center-cut pork chops | ||
Directions
Saute onion in butter until brown.
Add pineapple and applesauce.
Stir well.
Add sauerkraut, caraway seeds, bouillon cubes and water.
Cover and cook on high heat for 30 minutes.
Then reduce to medium heat for 1 hour.
Add the chops, turn to low and simmer 30 minutes longer.
