Ingredients

 Mushrooms1/2 Pound, sliced
 Butter1 Tablespoon
 Olive oil1 Tablespoon
 Shallots1 Tablespoon, chopped
 1 large clove garlic, chopped
 1 glass Marsala or port wine
 White wine2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 cups Brown or Espag-nole Sauce
 1 cup beef consomme
 Tomatoes1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Bay Leaf1
 Parsley1 Tablespoon, chopped

Directions

Saute mushrooms in butter and oil in large saucepan.
Add shallots and garlic and continue cooking until mushrooms are lightly browned.
Add wines and continue cooking to reduce.
Add Brown Sauce, consomme, tomatoes, bay leaf, and salt and pepper to taste.
Cook 20 to 25 minutes.
When ready to serve sauce, blend in the chopped parsley.
