Ingredients

 Oil8 Tablespoon
 Vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Black pepper salt1 To taste
 1 tablespoon finely chopped herbs, such as basil, chives, parsley, tarragon; or 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs (optional)

Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, put the oil and vinegar. Alternatively, put the ingredients in a screw-top jar.
2) Use a fork to beat well or shake the jar.
3) Add seasoning of salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.

SERVING
4) Serve and use as required.

TIP
To make herbed vinaigrette, add the herbs.
