Sauce For Diced Beets Recipe
Ingredients
1 tin diced beets
1/2 cup sugar
2 heaping teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1/4 cup juice from canned beets
2 tablespoons butter
Directions
Mix sugar, cornstarch, vinegar and juice together.
Heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
Add butter.
Add drained beets.
This makes a delightful hot vegetable, or an equally delicious cold salad for a buffet supper.
