Seasoned Torsk Recipe
Ingredients
| Cod fillets | 1 pound, frozen | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry white wine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Dash garlic powder | ||
| Salt | 1 Dash | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Snipped parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Thaw fish, if frozen.
Cut into four portions.
In a skillet bring 1 inch of water to boiling.
Add the bay leaf and the 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
Add the fish; simmer, covered, about 10 minutes or till fish is nearly done and flakes when tested with a fork.
Transfer fish to a 10x6x2 inch baking dish; leave in portions or flake.
Pour the wine and the 2 teaspoons lemon juice over all.
Sprinkle fish with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and snipped parsley over fish.
Bake in a 350° oven for 5 to 10 minutes or till the cheese is light brown.
