| 2 tins sardines | ||
| Olive oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Yellow onions | 2 Large, chopped | |
| Roasted red peppers | 1 Can (10oz), cut into strips | |
| Salt, if needed | ||
Directions
Rinse sardines under warm water.
Drain.
Pour half the olive oil into a small casserole and layer in the onions.
Cover the onions with the sardines and top the sardines with the red peppers.
Add just a touch of salt and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
This is served with fresh French bread that one may dip into the oil.
