Sardine Pizza Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Tomato Paste | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Seasoned salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| English muffins | 4 Small, toasted | |
| Shredded sharp Cheddar cheese | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sardines | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Green pepper strip | 1 | |
| Pimiento strips | ||
Directions
Blend the tomato paste with the seasoned salt, garlic powder, and oregano.
Spread about 1 1/2 table spoons on each toasted muffin half.
Sprinkle cheese over the tomato spread and arrange about 3 sardines on each muffin half.
Place two green pepper strips crossing the sardines and place a pimiento strip between them.
Brush top with some of the reserved oil.
Broil 3 to 4 inches from source of heat about 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted
