Sardine Coast o' Maine Salad Recipe

| Boiling water | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Creamy cottage cheese | 1 Pint | |
| Crumbled bleu cheese | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) | |
| Mayonnaise | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Minced parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Horseradish | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Celery seed | 1⁄8 Teaspoon | |
| Grated lemon rind | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Grated and drained cucumber | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Sardines | 8 Ounce, broken (Drained) |

Directions
Add vinegar and fold in cheeses and mayonnaise.
Add remain- ing ingredients and mix well.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Turn mixture into oiled mold and chill until firm, about 4 hours.
Turn out on serving plate.
If desired, garnish with onion rings, tomato slices and extra sardines.
For a party effect, use molded fish as top garnish.
Serve with horse- radish, mayonnaise and greens.
