Sardine Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Mayonnaise | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 thin slices whole-wheat bread | ||
| Beets | 8 1/4 Ounce, drained | |
| Cucumber | 1 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Sardines | 1 3 3/4 Ounce, drained | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, peeled and diced | ||
Directions
1. Mix mayonnaise and mustard.
2. For each serving, on dinner plate, arrange 2 slices bread side by side; spread with some mayonnaise mixture. On mixture, arrange beet and cucumber slices. Top with sardines and eggs, then remaining mayonnaise mixture.
