Sardine Canapes Recipe
Ingredients
| Round buttery crackers - 8 (1 ounce) | ||
| Plum tomato - 1 large, sliced crosswise into 8 slices | ||
| Sardines - 8 canned (1/4 ounce each), packed in oil, drained | ||
| Red onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| Mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dill sprigs – as required | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a serving platter, arrange the crackers.
2) On each cracker, place 1 tomato slice, 1 sardine, 1/8 of the onion rings, and 1/2 teaspoon mustard.
SERVING
3) Serve the canapé by garnishing each with a dill sprig.
