Sardine Cakes Recipe
How can anyone not agree with me that this Sardine Cakes is simply delicious? A delicious Main Dish, the Sardine Cakes completes your meal. This is the best recipe of Fish I have ever made. You must try this recipe.
Ingredients
3 cans (3 1/2 ounces each) water-packed sardines, drained, boned, and flaked (1 1/2 cups)
1 1/4 cups mashed potato (1 large potato, cooked and mashed)
2 green onions, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
2 tablespoons minced parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne), or to taste
1/3 cup toasted fresh
Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet. In a large bowl, combine the sardines, potato, green onions, parsley, garlic, mustard, egg, salt, and red pepper.
2 Form the mixture into 8 patties, dredge them in the bread crumbs, and arrange on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes; turn the patties and bake 10 minutes longer or until golden.
