Sardine And Tomato Hash Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 4 Large | |
| 30 ml / 2 tbsp olive oil | ||
| Spring onions | 1 Bunch (100gm), sliced | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm), crushed | |
| Celery stick | 4 , chopped | |
| Few fresh basil leaves | ||
| 2 x 400 g / 14 oz cans sardines in tomato sauce | ||
| Knob of butter | ||
| Dash of Worcestershire sauce | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1)Bake potatoes in hot oven.
2)In a small pan, fry garlic and spring onions for 2 or 3 minutes.
3)Add in celery and continue to cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
4)Rip basil leaves and add in. Now add sardines in tomato sauce. Stir to mix well.
5)Pour in Worcestershire sauce and add butter.
6)Separate flesh of baked potatoes and cut into cubes.
7)Add to pan and fry for a few minutes.
8)Transfer filling with potato back into potato skins.
SERVING
9)Serve hot.
