Santare Aur Khajoor Ka Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 bread slices, crusts removed | ||
| 1/3 cup butter rind of one orange and lemon, grated | ||
| Vanilla essence | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3/4 cup dates minced, seeded | ||
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
Directions
Mix warm milk with bread slices which have been kneaded a little.
Add rind, sugar, essence, dates and well beaten eggs.
Mix well.
Put in a baking dish in a pan of water, dot with butter and bake in a moderate oven till set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool and serve in slices, with cream.
