Santa Fe Pasta Recipe
Santa fe pasta is a vegetable and kidney beans pasta made with oodles of cheese. Spiced with chili powder and green chilies, the santa fe pasta is a baked recipe made with processed cheese spread to taste. Filled in a casserole and topped with corn chips and remaining cheese, it is baked to a crunchy cheesy first bite!
Ingredients
3/4 lb. Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread
2 tablespoons milk
1 8 3/4-oz. can whole kernel corn, drained
1 8-oz. can kidney beans, drained
2 cups (8 ozs.) mostaccioli noodles, cooked, drained
1 4-oz. can chopped green chilies, drained
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup corn chips
Directions
Cube 1/2 lb.
process cheese spread.
Combine with milk in saucepan; stir over low heat until process cheese spread is melted.
Add corn, beans, noodles, chilies and chili powder; mix lightly.
Spoon mixture into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350°, 20 minutes.
Top with chips and remaining process cheese spread, sliced.
Continue baking until process cheese spread begins to melt.
