Directions
Put peel in large pitcher with sugar.
Bruise peel with back of spoon to release oils.
Add wine and liqueur.
Chill 15 minutes.
Remove peel.
Add soda.
Garnish with thin orange slices, if desired.
Serve in glasses with ice.
