Sandwiches With Roast Meat And Wine Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| Gelatin | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 cup semi-dry white wine or Madeira | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| Pinch of sugar | ||
| Generous pinch of freshly ground white pepper | ||
| 4 slices seedless rye bread | ||
| Softened butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pork roast slice | 4 | |
| 1 stalk Italian parsley | ||
Directions
Sprinkle the gelatin into a little water.
Let it stand for 1 minute.
Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil.
Add the gelatin to the hot water and stir until dissolved; then slowly stir the gelatin water into the wine.
Season the liquid with the salt, pepper, and sugar.
Pour into a shallow bowl and allow to gel in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
Lightly butter the bread and top each slice with one piece of roast meat.
Finely dice the jelly and carefully heap it onto the meat.
Garnish with parsley.
