Sandwich Pickles Recipe
Ingredients
| Zucchini 2 pounds small | ||
| Onions 2 small, peeled and sliced | ||
| Salt water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| White vinegar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Spices | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Turmeric powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Slice zucchini and onions; cover with water and add salt.
Let stand 3 hours.
Drain.
Combine remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
Pour over slices and let stand for 2 hours; then bring syrup and slices to a boil for 5 minutes.
Pack in sterilized jars and seal hot.
