Ingredients

 1 cup chana dal flour
 Salt according to taste
 Chilli powder 1 and half tsp
 Turmeric powder1/4 Teaspoon
 Water- half cup
 Oil4 Teaspoon (for tadka:)
 Mustard seeds
 Asafoetida
 Onion1/2 (for tadka:)

Directions

mix all the ingredients and make a thick paste. heat oil splutter mustard seeds,curry leaves onion(optional) asafoetida add it to the paste.go on frying until it turns to powder consistency on a low flame.
