San Giorgio Marzetti Recipe
Ingredients
8 ounces San Giorgio
Medium Egg Noodles
1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1 16-ounce jar San Giorgio
Spaghetti Sauce with
Mushrooms
1/2 cup green pepper slivers
1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup tomato juice
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. crushed oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
San Giorgio Grated
Parmesan cheese
Directions
Prepare medium egg noodles as directed on package.
Brown beef and onion in a heavy skillet until the pink disappears, breaking up the pieces as it cooks; pour off fat.
Sprinkle the meat with salt.
Add the remaining ingredients, except for cheeses.
Simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
Add the hot drained noodles and blend.
Stir until hot; remove from heat.
Blend in Cheddar cheese.
