Samuchi Band Gobhi Recipe
Ingredients
White cabbage-1 medium
Butter-1/2 cup, melted
Onion-1 medium, chopped
Garlic-2 cloves, chopped
Mixed vegetables-1/2 pound, chopped
Garam masala-2 teaspoons
Green chili-1, chopped
Green ginger -1/2 teaspoon, grated
Salt- to taste
Red tomatoes-4, sliced
Garam masala-2 teaspoons
Green coriander-1 tablespoon, chopped
Directions
MAKING
1)Take cabbage and make four perpendicular gashes around it. Scoop out little from the inside, keeping shape intact.
2)In a pan, heat half butter and sauté onion and garlic until golden.
3)Add vegetables and inside of cabbage, chili, ginger and salt.
4)Add half of the tomatoes and the garam masala each.
5)Mix well and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.
6)Then, add some butter, followed with vegetables in the cabbage.
7)Wrap the cabbage with baking foil and cook on medium heat at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
SERVING
8)Remove the foil and sprinkle garam masala and coriander on the cabbage and garnish with tomato slices.
