Samuche Kekde Recipe
Ingredients
Water- as necessary
Salt- to taste
Crabs -6 medium
Ghee-1/4 cup
Onion-1 large, finely chopped
Garlic -2 cloves, crushed
Green chilies-2, chopped
Green ginger -1/2 teaspoon, grated
Bread-1 slice, water-soaked
Corn starch -1 teaspoon
Garam masala -1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
Lemon juice-1 tablespoon
Directions
MAKING
1)In a saucepan, boil water with 1/2 teaspoon salt, add crabs and cook for 5 minutes.
2)Remove the flesh from the shells, keep the shells aside.
3)In a frying pan, heat ghee and sauté onion until golden.
4)Add remaining ingredients, salt, crab flesh cook on medium heat until dry.
5)Let the mixture cool a bit and then fill it into the shells.
6)Then, grill the shells for 5 minutes.
SERVING
7)Serve the whole crabs garnished with onion rings and tomato slices.
