Homemade Samosa Recipe Video
Samosa is a very popular and interesting snack food in most parts of Asia. It is crisp outside and inside is an interesting filling.
Ingredients
Samosa Filling
1 large potato boiled
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp coriander
1/2 tsp red chill powder
1/2 tsp zeera
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice
Samosa Sheet
1 1/2 tbsp oil
1 cup plain flour
1/4 tsp of zeera
1/4 tsp onion seeds
Salt to taste
Directions
To make dough add flour, oil and herbs in a bowl and mix it. Add water to get the right consistency of the dough.
Chop potatoes in small squares and mash them.
Add the ingredients for filling in potato. Mix it properly.
Make small balls of the dough and roll them with a rolling pin.
Cut it in half. Put some water on the flat edges.
Join its corner to make a cone.
Now put the filling into it.
Close its edges firmly, so that they don't open while frying.
Heat wok full of oil and fry them until light golden brown.
Serve them with chutney or ketchup.
