Saltimbocca Recipe
Ingredients
| Veal cutlets | 8 | |
| Sage | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Prosciutto or ham slices 8 | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| White wine | 4 Ounce | |
Directions
Pound the cutlets into thin scaloppine, then sprinkle each piece with sage and pepper and put a slice of ham on top.
Press the edges together firmly.
Heat the butter and oil in a large frying pan and cook the meat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until nicely browned all over.
Remove to a heated platter and add the wine to the pan.
Let it boil up for 1 minute, then pour over the meat and serve.
