Salsifis Au Beurre Recipe
Ingredients
| Plain flour | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Water | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Salsify | 450 Gram, peeled | |
| Butter | 50 Gram | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
| Finely chopped fresh parsley | ||
Directions
1. Blend the flour with the lemon juice, salt and water. Strain into a pan of water and bring to the boil, stirring all the time.
2. Add the salsify, cover and cook for about 30-40 minutes until tender. Drain well.
3. Melt the butter in a pan, add the salsify and brown lightly.
4. Place in a hot serving dish and sprinkle with pepper and chopped parsley.
