Recipe Story

I'm not a big fan of chunky salsa's but I also don't like naked chips. I came up with this salsa to cater to my own taste buds, as well as come up with an everyday salsa that can go well with anything: chips, poultry, beef, and margaritas. Cheers!

Ingredients

4 large tomatoes, cored, chopped

1 small red onion, chopped

1 jalapeno, de-seeded, chopped

handful of cilantro, chopped

Juice of 1 lime, or more to taste

Salt, to taste

Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

*for a spicier salsa, leave the pith and seeds of the jalapeno in

Directions

1. In a food processor, combine all ingredients and pulse until salsa is of desired texture.
2. Serve with warm, baked blue corn chips (available at Trader Joe's)
