Salonika Cutlets Recipe
Salonika Cutlets are simply delicious. This is my children's favorite treat and it often gets wolfed down even before it reaches the dining table! They are just too yummy. Try this Salonika Cutlets recipe for yourself!
Ingredients
| Beef | 225 Gram, minced | |
| Cooked rice | 225 Gram | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Grated peel 1 lemon | ||
| Seedless raisins | 50 Gram | |
| Flour | 50 Gram, seasoned | |
| Oil | 50 Milliliter | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
1 Mix the beef, rice, egg, onion, salt and pepper, grated lemon peel and sultanas (seedless white raisins) together and form into four triangular 'cutlets,' 1 cm (1/2 in) thick.
2 Dredge with the seasoned flour.
3 Heat the oil in a frying pan (skillet) and fry for 8 minutes on each side until golden.
4 Serve with boiled rice and a tomato sauce.
Fried marrow fritters would go well with this dish.
