Salmon Loaf Recipe
Salmon Loaf is a marvelous item to prepare for family meals. A good way to use up Salmon is to make some delicious Salmon Loaf. I just love Main Dish recipes and this dish is my only favorite amongst them. Have faith in me and try this Salmon Loaf.
Ingredients
7 1/2 oz. canned salmon
2 oz. butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 small onion, grated
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
A pinch of Salt
A pinch of cayenne pepper
4 sprigs watercress
1 hard boiled egg
Directions
Turn the salmon out into a mixing bowl and mash to a pulp with a fork.
Add the butter and mayonnaise and mix thoroughly until it becomes a smooth paste.
Add the grated onion, celery, parsley, salt and cayenne pepper and mix thoroughly together.
Press the mixture into a small loaf tin or mould, cover lightly with aluminium foil and chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
To serve turn the salmon loaf out onto a serving dish and decorate with watercress and the hardboiled egg cut into slices.
