Salmon Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Chicken bouillon cube/Canned salmon | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Fortified margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion juice | 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Egg yolk | 1 , beaten | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg white | 1 , stiffly beaten |
Directions
Combine the ingredients in the order given, folding in the stiffly beaten egg white last.
Place the mixture in a well-greased pan and bake in a moderately hot oven or steam the mixture.
Serve with white sauce.
Other cooked fish like cod, halibut, or haddock may be used in place of salmon.
