Salmon A La Mornay Recipe

Salmon a la mornay is a boiled salmon preparation made with potatoes and swiss cheese. One of my favorite among simple yet delicious salmon recipes, the salmon a la mornay is a baked salmon recipe prepared along with added egg and bread crumbs for a ful and filling meal.

 Cooked potatoes4
 Swiss cheese1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Egg yolk1
 Buttered crumbs1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Medium white sauce1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Boiled salmon2 Cup (32 tbs)


Mash the potatoes and line a greased baking dish with them.
Add the cheese and egg-yolk to the white sauce and pour half of it over the potatoes.
Add the fish and cover it with the remaining sauce and buttered bread-crumbs.
Bake in the oven (350° F.) for twenty minutes.
