Salmon Steaks With Pinon Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| 4-170 g salmon steaks | ||
| Olive oil | 60 Milliliter | |
| Red wine | 30 Milliliter | |
| Lemon juice | 30 Milliliter | |
| Chives | 30 Milliliter, minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Cilantro | 30 Milliliter, chopped | |
| Butter | 60 Milliliter | |
| 60 ml finely chopped pine nuts | ||
Directions
Wash and pat dry the salmon, place into a shallow pan.
Mix the oil, wine, lemon juice, chives, garlic and cilantro together in a small mixing bowl, pour over steaks and marinate for 3 hours covered and refrigerated.
Blend the butter with the pine nuts, spoon onto waxed paper and roll.
Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Grill the fish for 5 minutes per side, brushing with marinade.
Place onto serving plate, slice the butter and place a large dollop on each.
