Salmon Steaks and Caper Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 salmon steaks (7 to 8 oz. each) about 1 inch thick | ||
| 1/4 cup reconstituted natural butter-flavored mix | ||
| Capers | 1 Tablespoon, drained, rinsed (Caper Sauce:) | |
| Snipped parsley | 2 Teaspoon (Caper Sauce:) | |
| Onion powder | 1/4 Teaspoon (Caper Sauce:) | |
| Paprika | 1/8 Teaspoon (Caper Sauce:) | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon (Caper Sauce:) | |
Directions
Arrange salmon steaks on roasting rack with thickest portions toward outside of rack.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at 70% (Medium High) for 7 to 10 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork, rotating rack once or twice.
Let stand, covered, while preparing sauce.
In 1-cup measure, combine all caper sauce ingredients.
Microwave at High for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until warm.
Serve sauce over salmon.
