Salisbury Steak with Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| 12 oz. lean chopped New York steak | ||
| 1/2 cup unsalted, defatted beef broth | ||
| 1 shallot, chopped fine | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
Directions
Form four patties from the chopped meat; broil to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, heat the beef broth in a heavy skillet and add the shallot and mushrooms.
Simmer uncovered to reduce the sauce.
Glaze each steak patty with a portion of the sauce.
Serve very hot.
