Salisbury Steak Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 pound lean ground beef round or sirloin | ||
| 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Black pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 strips lean bacon, cooked crisp, drained, and crumbled | ||
Directions
1. Preheat the broiler and line a broiling pan with foil. In a large bowl, using your hands or a spoon, mix all the ingredients except the bacon. Form the mixture into 4 oval patties, each about 1 inch thick. Place on the broiler pan.
2. Broil the patties 3 inches from the heat for 5 minutes; turn and press the into the uncooked side. Broil 3 minutes longer or until the meat is the way you like it. Serve hot.
