 1 x 7 oz packet frozen puff pastry, thawed
 Salami4 Ounce, finely chopped
 Beaten egg to glaze

Directions

Roll out the dough to an oblong about 38 by 30 cm (15 by 12 inches). Cut in half. Dot the salami at 4 cm (1 1/2 inch) intervals on one sheet. Brush the remaining sheet with water and lay it, wet side down, on the first sheet. Press the pastry well to form 'parcels' and cut into squares with a sharp knife or pastry wheel. Glaze with beaten egg and bake in a preheated hot oven (220°C/425°F, Gas Mark 7) for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 40
