Ingredients

 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), halved
 1 head Boston lettuce, trimmed, broken in bite-size pieces, and chilled
 French dressing1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 cups cold diced cooked potatoes
 2 cups cold cooked cut green beans
 Ripe olives1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tomatoes, cored and cut in wedges
 Anchovies1 Can (10oz), drained
 Capers1 Tablespoon
 Chervil1 Teaspoon, minced
 Tarragon1 Teaspoon, minced

Directions

Rub a salad bowl with garlic, add lettuce, 2-3 tablespoons dressing, and toss.
Mix 1/4 cup dressing with potatoes and beans, then pile on lettuce.
Garnish with olives, tomatoes, and anchovies, sprinkle with capers, herbs, and remaining salad dressing.
Do not toss.
