Salad With Pineapple And Marshmallows Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 Tin pineapple, cut into shreds | ||
| 250 gms. marshmellows cut into quarters | ||
| 150 gms. almond slivers | ||
| Blanched and cut into slender slips. | ||
| (Any nut can be substituted). | ||
| Egg yolks | 4 | |
| Sugar | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Whipped cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cherries for garnish as also a cup of orange juice. | ||
Directions
Mix together pineapple, marshmellows and almond slivers and refrigrate over night.
â–¡ Next day, make the dressing - Add the egg yolks, sugar, and vinegar and cook until thick.
This dressing with the whipped cream is added to the salad mixture and put into a fancy mould.
Freeze for 4 hours.
Garnish with cherries, and pour a cup of orange juice over the salad.
