Ingredients

 
1 small head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
 
1 head Boston lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
 
2 cups cooked, cubed potatoes
 
1 package frozen French style green beans, cooked
 
1 can white tuna fish, drained and flaked
 
1/4 green pepper, cut into strips
 
2 hard cooked eggs, sliced
 
16 pitted ripe olives
 
1 small onion, thinly sliced
 
1 medium size tomato, cut into 8 wedges
 
1 package old fashioned French dressing mix
 
2 tablespoons water
 
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
 
2/3 cup salad oil
 
1 tablespoon lemon juice
 
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
 
1/2 teaspoon seasoned pepper

Directions

Place lettuce in bottom of a very large salad bowl.
Arrange potatoes, green beans, tuna fish, green pepper, eggs, olives, onion, and tomato in attractive pattern on lettuce.
Combine French dressing mix and water in a jar; shake well.
Add vinegar and oil; shake again.
When salad is ready to be served, toss it lightly with dressing, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
