Sake Steamed Fish With Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| Flounder | 1 pound, frozen | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| 4 thin slices lemon | ||
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Sake | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
Thaw fish, if frozen.
Arrange fish fillets in 9-inch pie plate (or another shallow heat-proof dish that is at least 1 inch smaller than steamer rack).
Sprinkle fish generously with salt and pepper.
Arrange lemon slices atop fish; sprinkle with mushrooms.
Drizzle sake over all.
Over high heat, bring water for steaming to boiling.
Place pie plate on steamer rack over boiling water.
Cover steamer and steam 12 to 15 minutes or till fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
