Sabziyon Ki Biryani Recipe
Ingredients
| Ghee | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Tomatoes | 2 | |
| Bay leaves | 2 | |
| Black peppercorns | 8 | |
| Cloves | 8 | |
| Green cardamom | 4 | |
| Cinnamon stick | 1 Inch | |
| Mixed vegetables | 1⁄2 Pound | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Basmati rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vegetable bouillon/Water | 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) | |
| Cream cheese | 2 Ounce | |
| Mixed nuts | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Dried fruits | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) |
Directions
MAKING
1)In a pan, heat the ghee and sauté onion until deep golden. Remove half the onion for later garnishing.
2)Then, add tomato and mix well. Add spices and cook until the ghee separates.
3)Fold in vegetables and salt stir and over the pan tightly, and let the vegetables stew in their own juices until half cooked for 5 to 7 minutes.
4)Add rice, add the vegetable stock, mix and bring to a boil.
5)Decrease heat and cook for 5 minutes.
6)Now, add cheese and nuts, mix well. Cover the pan and cook for 5 more minutes until the moisture is all gone.
SERVING
7)Garnish the vegetable biryani with fried onion and serve hot.
