Sabrett's Onion Sauce Recipe Video
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sweet onion | 4 Cup (64 tbs), chopped | |
| Water | 3 Cup (48 tbs) | |
| Corn starch | 1 Tablespoon, dissolved in cold water | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Tomato paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Kosher salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Crushed red pepper | 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Or more if you like) | |
| White vinegar | 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) |

Directions
1)Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat and add the onions, saute for about 5 minutes until onions are tender but not caramelized.
2)Add the brown sugar, tomato paste, salt and red pepper.
3)Stir and cook for a few minutes to cook off the raw taste of the tomato paste.
4)Add the water and vinegar and simmer for 1 hour. Add the cornstarch while stirring.
5)Increase the heat and bring to a boil till thickened.
SERVING:
6)Spoon onion sauce over hot dog with spicy brown mustard and serve and enjoy!
