Ruth's Shell Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground beef | 1 Pound | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Flour | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Beef | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 2 cups cooked large shell-shaped macaroni | ||
| Dairy sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Red wine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Finely chopped parsley | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In 4-quart casserole, shred beef with fork.
2. Add onion.
3. Cook on High for 4 minutes.
4. Add flour, salt, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; mix well.
5. Add soup, mushrooms and cooked macaroni.
6. Cover the casserole.
7. Cook on High for 5 minutes; stir once.
8. Add sour cream and wine.
9. Heat on High for 1 to 1-1/2 minutes.
SERVING
10. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
