Ingredients

 Large Rutabaga - 1/2 no, peeled, quartered
 Sweet Butter - 2 tablespoons
 Onion1
 Shiitake Mushrooms - 5 nos, sliced thin

Directions

MAKING
1) In a pot of boiling water, boil the rutabaga till it becomes tender.
2) Drain the rutabaga and put it back into the pot.
3) Let it heat up for 2 minutes to dry off the excess moisture.
4) Take the rutabaga out and slice them to the size of half dollars.
5) In a non-stick skillet, melt butter. Add in the onions and saute till they become transparent.
6) Next, add in the mushrooms. Saute till they soften.
7) Next, add in the rutabagas. Saute till they become crisp and brown.

SERVING
8) Serve the Rutabaga Home Fries garnished with grated cheese, if desired.
