Cut carrots and potatoes into small pieces.
Peel cucumber and cut into small pieces.
Peel pear and apple and cut in wedges.
Sprinkle salt and lemon juice.
Peel orange and remove skin.
Section the range taking care not to break it.
Combine boiled vegetables, cucumber, powdered sugar and mayonnaise in a bowl.
Chop lettuce finely.
Add salt and pepper.
In a salad bowl, place mayonnaise mixture in the centre.
Spread lettuce around and arrange pear, apple wedges and orange sections alternatively.
