Run For The Roses Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Granulated Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted and slightly cooled | ||
| 2 eggs, slightly beaten | ||
| Bourbon | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate morsels | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Nuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1 pie shell, unbaked | ||
Directions
Combine sugar, flour, butter, eggs, bourbon and vanilla in a mixer bowl; beat until well blended.
Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts.
Pour filling into pie shell.
Bake in a preheated 325°F oven 50 to 60 minutes, or until pie is set and top cracks.
Cool on rack.
