Directions

Use a sharp knife to quarter the fresh pineapple lengthwise.
Remove hard core from pineapple quarters.
Loosen pineapple flesh from shell.
Cut the flesh of each quarter into 1/2-inch-thick slices.
In a small saucepan melt margarine.
Stir in brown sugar, rum, cinnamon, and cloves.
Wrap pineapple crowns in heavy foil to prevent burning.
Place pineapple quarters, shell side down, in center of the cooking grill.
Grill about 15 minutes or till pineapple is heated through, basting every 5 minutes with the rum mixture.
Just before serving, remove foil from crowns.
Sprinkle each serving with nutmeg.
