 Water3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
 Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Orange section1
 Dark rum3 Ounce

Directions

In a saucepan, bring to a boil water, sugar and orange.
Without stirring, simmer 3 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Let cool 5 minutes.
Add rum.
Remove orange section.
