Rum Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup (125 ml) butter
1 cup (250 ml) sugar
1/2 cup (125 ml) 35% cream
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
2 tbsp (30 ml) rum
Directions
– In a saucepan, over low heat, simmer butter, sugar, and cream 8 to 12 minutes.
– Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract and rum.
